Is Disney’s New Lightning Lane Premier Pass Worth the Price?

Disney's New Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Starting October 30, 2024, Disney will roll out the Lightning Lane Premier Pass, designed to give guests a more flexible and convenient way to experience the parks. Exclusively available for guests at Disney Deluxe Resorts and select hotels, this pass allows one-time entry to every Lightning Lane attraction in a single park for a full day.

Key Highlights:

  • No Set Times: Enjoy attractions whenever you like—no need to choose arrival windows.
  • One-Time Access to All Lightning Lane Rides: Use the Lightning Lane entrance at all eligible attractions in your chosen park.
  • Photo Perks Included: Get digital downloads of select attraction photos and access Disney PhotoPass Lenses.

Pricing:

  • Costs vary from $129 to $449 depending on the park and date. Peak periods have higher prices, and prices are viewable in the My Disney Experience app.

Standby Lines and Virtual Queues:

  • Traditional standby lines are still available, but some high-demand attractions may use a virtual queue, accessed through the app.
